Statewide System (WISCOM) Management Group

The Statewide System Management Group (SSMG) oversees the development and implementation of WISCOM, a common statewide system that will allow responders across the state to seamlessly communicate during a major disaster. The SSMG ensures that all aspects of WISCOM are user-driven and that the system meets the needs of the public safety community statewide.

The SSMG was chartered by the State Interoperability Council in March 2008. Membership includes representatives from law enforcement, fire services, EMS, emergency management agencies and municipal, county, state, and tribal government. Most members are appointed by statewide public safety associations or state agencies. Additionally, there are two at-large representatives.
